Multilayer Extruder Screen Pack
Multi-layer extruder screen pack is formed by cutting the screen into the required shape and size, and then spot welding the screens. Depending on the requirements of the material and the filtration grade, the multi-layer extruder screen pack usually contains 2 to 5 layers. This screen is stronger and ensures a cleaner extrusion, suitable for fine extrusion application. Therefore, when high-precision filtration and separation are required, multi-layer screen is an ideal choice.
Multi-layer extruder screen packs usually have two edge forms: spot welded edges and frame edges.
Spot welding edge
The multi-layer screen components are welded together to form a spot-welded edge. The number and location of spot-welding points can be customized according to your different applications.
Framed edge
On the spot-welding edge, a metal frame (usually stainless steel or aluminum) is added to make it have higher structural stability and strength.
